But he's only, what? In his 150s? 160s at most? Vulcans have a lifespan into their 200s, so he has some decades left if that side of his heritage runs true in that area. Maybe somewhere between Delta Vega and the Academy, he came to terms with what had happened? In a handwavy, "it would be illogical to dwell on this" sort of way? In all honesty, though, I've been feeling terrible for Spock since Kirk died in Generations, so this on top of that is making me sadface way too much.
