Stayed up ridiculously late working on fic, which I do believe is the worst thing I've written in years. I took it down this morning, it sucked so hard. So, why am I tired, again? No reason? Fantastic.

In other new, my mother's kind of crazy.

And it snowed again.

She's just neurotic about going to class early. Like, really neurotic. It's spectacular and hard to believe!

Huh. Does she scream and attempt to guilt you and flail around a lot? Because that sounds like very typical Momly behavior.

I'll read it and not really understand that much again! MAYBE IT WILL HELP.

My mom did that for most of my life and, according to rumor, most of her 30+ year marriage - until recently! Now she just sort of goes well, I refuse to be responsible and is terribly, sweetly acerbic when we are late. Especially if she's driving and has to do illegal things to get us there. It's HORRIFYING. I liked it the other way better.

The sad thing is, most of what you're not understanding is probably not anything from the canon--it's probably stuff I made up for the fic and didn't bother explaining well enough!

Does disliking her new methods make you get ready faster?
