Internet shut off for about an hour tonight.

And I've developed this really weird thing, and by "thing" I mean "sudden stabbing and not insignificant pain behind my right ear that goes off every couple of minutes," which I only noticed after I'd muttered ouch under my breath a whole bunch of times. My self-awareness is an amazing thing.

But, wait, I must have noticed! Because I said ouch.

My complaints were just ignored. By... me.

God, my brain.

Birds don't attack in groups.

It looks like they'll kill only one or two, period. They've got to get the scout before it brings back a raiding party!

The birds could probably pick them off one or two at a time better than the poor honeybees could, though. Some honeybees DIE when they stop the scouts...
