Alas, it seems as though phone computers are invincible. It's annoying for situations like the ones you're talking about, but I think it really becomes ridiculous when you're calling your health insurance company, and all you get is a machine.

I hate them always. I know people are expensive, but I'll take one over a machine any day of the week. I can't think of a single time the phone-tree thing was easier to use.
