"because it's from outer space? what do you want from me?"

This is the first time I've ever written a paper that's a whole page longer than the minimum specified requirements. Possibly because I got to speculate on the motivations of a carnivorous alien menace and include phrases like, "It's unfortunate that the scientifically motivated characters didn't get a chance to speculate more before they were killed and eaten."

It's possible I may be choosing the long line of work, here. Is there a line of work where you get to speculate about aliens? I'm totally there.

Edit: Though I may be ill-suited for science stuff, at least I didn't spent the entire class doodling about Dan the DNA Man and the wacky adventures of Mitosis and Meiosis. Unlike someone I know.

Also, I think I'm changing my schedule to take microbiology next semester. Holy crap, that topic drives me crazy. I must understand it.

I had literally never heard of Speed Racer until I watched that movie and I loved it and started watching the source material because of it! So.

I am usually weary about movies like that. I usually end up being disappointed.

But all I said was that the movie was good enough for me that it'd gotten me interested in the original canon, and that I was recommending it because of that. Why would I lie about that?

Dude, the day I came home from seeing the movie I twitter'd that anyone who disliked it had no soul. Brittany joined ME on the Speed Racer bandwagon.

You should see it before you judge. >/

I saw a part of it! I was not IMPRESSED. I didn't want to waste my money on a movie I wouldn't have liked.

You have to see it as a whole to really get the full effect, and I literally cannot imagine you not liking it. It's the condensed spirit of the original in oversaturated technicolor.

Especially if she liked Transformers! Which she did.
