I've known people, or unfortunately had to help them, who had no fucking idea how sarcasm works, so they just act like everyday is opposite day or whatever. Would you like Sprite or Dr. Pepper? "Sprite. NO WAIT JUST KIDDING DR. PEPPER!" Is the bathroom on the first floor? "Sure? HAHA PSYCH SECOND!" I hate even talking to these people.

ACTUALLY, since I am on this tangent, I must share the story of the table I waited on who, when I asked if they wanted separate checks, told me no! BUT THAT WAS APPARENTLY A HILARIOUS JOKE and they actually secretly meant yes. And they didn't tell me. Until they got their check and were like WTF and were actually puzzled that I didn't see their brilliant humor in telling me the opposite of what they meant. SERIOUSLY PEOPLE I AM NOT YOU WHEN ALL OPTIONS ARE NEUTRAL TO ME IT'S NOT FUCKING FUNNY DO YOU WANT ME TO BE PSYCHIC WHAT.
