And because I barely need an excuse to reread The Kobayashi Maru Chekov getting all broken hearted when he realizes that Kirk cheated to win:

He sat now with his back against the airlock doors, his arms folded on his drawn-up knees; lamplight brushed blue highlights into the lieutenant's brown hair, while distance hid his dark-eyed face in shadow.
