Also, was it you last night on fandom_wank who convinced me to add another game to my to-play list? The game, I see it listed up there!

It's the Tony Redgrave from the artbook sketches, when DMC1 was still RE4. I like his design, what can I say? ~~Knowing this would have proven that, like me, you know way too much about DMC and need a life :P~~

If that person on F_W talked you into buying Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne by talking at length about the Manikins... that was totally me.

I knew that DMC used to be RE4, but didn't know they'd gotten so far with Tony's design! Dante with a guy partner would be... interesting. DMC: THE BUDDY COP MOVIE.

Yup, there's two pages of sketches of him in the artbook. He and Dante also had a woman partner, Aïsha. It'd be nice to see Dante interacting with a male beyond pounding his head into the nearest wall, for once :P

Nocturne is seriously one of the top 3 best games ever made *points to protagonist in icon*.

Well, with Nero, there is a fondness that comes with the violence. Does that count?

Hm... maybe, I'd have to play to be sure. My idea though would be a guy that starts off as his partner. Or at least on his side.

You should try them! Chrono Trigger is an old SNES RPG, but it was reedited for the PS1 some years ago and packaged with one of the old Final Fantasy. Digital Devil Saga 2 is a game in the Shin Megami Tensei family, and is an AWESOME RPG. Great story, awesome characters, just a damn great game all around. With demons. And cannibals.

I've been reading F_W for nearly two years, but there was never any DMC wank (the "DMC4 to X-box 360" doesn't count, it was much more of a Sony wank than a real DMC wank). The one time a DMC wank is posted there, it's during the one week I didn't have access to the Internet, and I missed it! *shakes fist at the heavens*

Lucifer's Call is the fussiest game ever. Most games only ask you for a name for the protagonist. L'C wants a name and a surname and a nickname! :P
