See, three is what I put at first, but three is just a threesome, don't you think? I mean, for it to really be GROUP sex, you need a group. Three doesn't quite qualify as a group, right? It's more of a trio.

Yeah, that's what I figured! I thought five was a good number for the kind of random craziness you expect when you think of the word "orgy."

I went for four, because you have two options with a group of four; two sets of people having sex, or groping three different people. If you're groping three separate people, I think it's safe to call it an orgy! Five just makes it seem like it would have to be very crowded to be considered one.

For it to be a real orgy, you need a lot of people. It's not necessarily to have them in one small place.

For example, in The Plague by Albert Camus people were having an orgy in a cemetery. They kind of just wandered around, having random sex with each other.
