I hate my glasses, I've had them for forever, and they're broken and sit kind of crooked on my face. And I'm not thrilled about not having any makeup, my skin is red and, uh, not awesome.

I tried to smile on my student ID. Unfortunately, I was in such a bad mood that I would have preferred walking out in front of a bus to standing still for the picture, and the resulting expression made me look, uh, really drunk. I don't know why.

So you're a real college student then. You can be like "I'm so hardcore, I didn't even go to ORIENTATION sober."

I looked like a corpse once. You know those face shots they sometimes take of dead bodies so that they can be identified? That's what I seriously looked like.

At least it doesn't look like a mugshot. My mom took one look at mine and went "God, I'm sending a convict to college."

That's good! Because I have no control over my hair's appearance and that's what it looks like no matter what I do.

Y'know, picture booths have lighting that are almost universally flattering, and there's no way they're all that expensive. Why don't they use this for I.D's..?

Because they don't really care whether your picture causes people to run screaming or not?

But the way they do it is nearly designed to make people look horrible. So it's like they care in a negative way.

I think this calls for a conspiracy theory.
