I don't mean to sound wanky or anything, but I'm starting to get sick of women being graphically murdered on Supernatural. The show just wasn't this violent in the first and second seasons. Sure, there was blood, but the dude from "Home" getting his hand getting stuck in the garbage disposal was horror movie corny violence; a close-up a teenage girl being drowned in a toilet? It feels different, and I don't like it.

That said, "Criss Angel is a Douchebag" and "After School Special" were better episodes than I've seen in a while.

They did! I didn't mind; it was telegraphed a mile away and it was kind of funny!

It's easy, and everyone has it! Thus, it freaks people out.

I will only touch my garbage disposal with a spatula. If one is not handy, a spoon or fork will do in a pinch. No bare fingers at ALL.

If you see someone stick someone's hand in a kitchen appliance and then watch said hand be ground up into bloody bits, you try not laughing.

IT IS VERY EASY.

In reality, sure. In TV/movies/etc? Funny as shit.

And I wouldn't stick my hand down a garbage disposal unless I had a damn good reason anyway.

MAYBE A LITTLE TOO CLOSE TO REALITY. I HAVE TOO MANY MANGLED SPOONS IN MY HOUSE FOR THIS TO BE REMOTELY AMUSING.

GEEZE IT'S NOT LIKE IT'S ON PURPOSE OR ANYTHING.

ARE YOU WASHING DISHES WITH THE DISPOSAL ON OR SOMETHING?

NOT TRADITIONALLY. BUT I RUN THE DISPOSAL AFTER I TAKE ALL THE DISHES OUT OF THE SINK, AND SOMETIMES A SPOON SLIPS DOWN THERE.

MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHECK BEFORE YOU RUN THE DISPOSAL THEN.

THAT WOULD INVOLVE PUTTING MY HAND DOWN THERE. AND THAT'S A NO-NO.

IF IT'S OFF AND YOU DON'T HAVE A PSYCHOPATH ~~OR A POLTERGEIST~~ NEARBY, I THINK YOU'LL BE FINE.

EITHER THAT OR WASH STUFF ON THE SIDE OF THE SINK THAT DOESN'T HAVE THE DISPOSAL.

Actually, I think they've done it a few times now? In different episodes and different ways, regardless.

It was a Cuisinart in the episode before last! That was close enough.

That I thought was pretty funny.
