[livejournal.com profile] rocknload: What happened?
[livejournal.com profile] penginchan: Other dog tried to steal Gokus food they got in fught, Daddy was in between them.
[livejournal.com profile] penginchans: He's bleeding a lot!
[livejournal.com profile] rocknload: Shit, seriously?
[livejournal.com profile] penginchan: Also, I can only type with one hand because earliuer today I melt
[livejournal.com profile] rocknload: Like, stitches seriously?
[livejournal.com profile] penginchan: myself to a soldering iron and a piece oif plkastic.
[livejournal.com profile] rocknload: What the fuck is wrong with you people?
[livejournal.com profile] penginchan: Uh, can;t stich because it's a puncure wound but yeah, he's bleeding all over the place.
[livejournal.com profile] penginchan: Nothing!
[livejournal.com profile] rocknload: Jesus Christ.
[livejournal.com profile] penginchan: I was actually proud of myself, I didn't make a sound when it happened, even thought it might be the most painful thing I've endured!
[livejournal.com profile] penginchan: Now Daddys hand is all wrapped up, and blood is still coming out. DX
[livejournal.com profile] penginchan: I neecd to go clean up the blood now, here's Mommy!

I instant message my family. I don't call home.

We're going to have to do something with the dog, obviously, but it's hard while Peanut's owner is still serving her DUI sentence in Camp Verde. All disasters aside, my family's still pretty cheery. As of last night my father is now the owner of his own martial arts studio, and my kid brother and sister are his eager minions in running it.

Well, shit!

Glad everyone's conscious!

So far. And I'm told the house is way, way calmer and quieter without me around.

[identity profile] sunsetsred.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
I can only imagine. Your family is chaotic. I'm waiting for a family portrait of the Wilsons to replace any actual definitions for "badass" in Mirriam-Webster's, really.
ext_57246: (♬ but what's puzzling yo)

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
Heh, my family is ever working to increase their cool factor. As of last night my family officially owns and runs a taekwondo studio, which is what I was going to post about before I forgot about it due to the dog attack and blood. I guess I'll edit it in, now...

[identity profile] sunsetsred.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
...Be straight with me, Brittany.

You're the Comedian, arent you?

Aw, I'd rather be Indiana Jones! You know, all of the adventure, none of the rape?

[identity profile] sunsetsred.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
And all of the girls writing "I LOVE YOU" across their eyelids.

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly! All of the perks, none of the ... rape.

[identity profile] sunsetsred.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
Che. Next you'll be denouncing killing kids and pregnant women. Prude.

[identity profile] iron.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
Shit. I hope everyone's going to be alright.

He agreed to go to the doctor tomorrow, which is probably a bad sign, really, since he never goes to the doctor, but presumably that'll take care of anything going wrong. My sister, eh, she'll be more careful around soldering irons! Everybody wins.

[identity profile] iron.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
That's my logic regarding my brother doing stupid things, but I don't think it's very effective because he's one and a half, and probably won't learn from the experience anyway.

And hey, first time for everything. Even doctors.

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 06:17 am (UTC)(link)
Nah, but he'll have some hilarious stories to tell people later! Of course, he won't remember them himself, but maybe he'll appreciate them!

[identity profile] ex-monarchy375.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
HOPEFULLY HE WILL GO TO THE DOCTOR SOON. That doesn't sound good. :[

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
I JUST WANT THE DOG GONE. I MEAN, I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT THAT MUCH, BUT WHAT THE FUCK.

[identity profile] ex-monarchy375.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
YEAH, I CAN'T SAY I BLAME YOU.

Tch, sounds like that dog has behavioral problems. Food fights are well enough but shouldn't provoke human-directed aggression.

That was a dumbass thing for her to do. Was she at least doing something cool with the soldering iron?

[personal profile] unicorn 2009-03-12 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
And your dad is smart for going to the doctor, that is a freaking dog bite, man.

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
It was our dog that actually got him, he was standing between them when they started going at each other. Apparently this makes my parents feel better about this, though my reaction is more like, yeah, that is a dog bite, man.

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 06:10 am (UTC)(link)
The dog has tried to kill one of our cats and destroyed a ton of our goddamn property, so I don't doubt it. The dog has to go.

... It actually never occurred to me to ask. She told me and I said, "Oh, gee, how shocking that you did that to yourself."

[personal profile] unicorn 2009-03-12 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
Asshole dog, or at least one unused to sharing territory. When does she get back?

If she was doing something cool with it I forgive her the dumbassery, because doing epic things gives you hurting yourself points. But it has to be pretty epic for melting your hand to plastic.

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
She gets out of jail once a week to do some work for my dad, but I think she's out for good in ... a couple weeks? Doesn't matter, then she goes back to living with us and my dad won't through her out because his goddamn brother just died homeless of a drug overdose and my mom's throwing a fit and the whole situation is a mess and this is the one upside of not living there most of the time.

All I keep hearing is, "She just grabbed it!" Which doesn't sound epic, not at all.

[personal profile] unicorn 2009-03-12 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
I doubt the results would be quite as dramatic if he did throw her out...

Pffft. Lame.
ext_57246: (Default)

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
Nah, she could easily die. It happens a lot to people who literally have no place to live, though she could probably get one if she'd get rid of the fucking dog.

Totally! I mean, c'mon.
unicorn: a unicorn skull. (Default)

[personal profile] unicorn 2009-03-12 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
That's what I meant, yeah. I guess it would depend on whether or not she'd compromise about the dog. He could make it a requirement that she find somewhere else to keep the dog while she lives there?

SHE SHOULD AT LEAST HAVE BEEN TRYING TO MAKE A MOTORCYCLE FROM SCRATCH OR SOMETHING
ext_57246: (Default)

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 06:37 am (UTC)(link)
She can't. If she could, my mother would've forced the issue already, she really hates the fucking dog. Though if she didn't have the dog—and the cat, and the birds—there's no reason she'd have to stay with us, since there are other options for a single, unemployed woman.

I HEAR THAT'S A DIFFICULT THING TO DO
unicorn: a unicorn skull. (Default)

[personal profile] unicorn 2009-03-12 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
...THAT IS REALLY ANNOYING.

Which is why it would have been epic.
ext_57246: (Default)

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 06:40 am (UTC)(link)
If I were here I would've taken the dog to a shelter by now.

She could also have been destroying something in an epic manner! That'd be more like her. And it's sort of what she did, I guess...

[personal profile] unicorn 2009-03-12 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
I can understand not wanting to give up your animals, but not to the extent of becoming a parasite. If you get an animal, you make damn sure you can take care of that animal without this sort of thing happening...

SHE WAS ONLY DESTROYING HER SKIN, THOUGH.
ext_57246: (Default)

[identity profile] rocknload.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
Well, that's the whole you can't foresee everything that can happen thing that they're always wanking about on sf_drama. And the dog will almost certainly be put down if she gives it up, everyone except my mom knows that.

AND THE PLASTIC SHE ATTACHED HERSELF TO

[personal profile] unicorn 2009-03-12 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
No. You can't. But you can respond to situations when they do happen. And there are no-kill shelters, though I don't know how accessible one would be in your area. There are organizations that deal with problem dogs precisely because they don't want them getting put down. It might be a lot of effort, but if she can't support the dog it sounds like it would be worth it.

[identity profile] immelmanturn.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
...look, can you guys just take over the state already and be done with it? Is the training of impressionable young minions really necessary?

Also, I hope your dad and sis are okay.

YOU I NEED TO THANK YOU FOR THE FOOD YOU SENT BUT THEN I NEVER CATCH YOU ONLIIIIIIINE

Pffft, they'll live. Probably. I think.

[identity profile] immelmanturn.livejournal.com 2009-03-12 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
WELL, I'M HERE NOW. I'VE BEEN KEEPING SANER SLEEPING HOURS RECENTLY, THAT MAY BE WHY WE KEEP MISSING EACH OTHER. And phewh. It made it there okay, then! NOW, EAT THINGS. HEAT WATER IN THE MUG. MAKE OATMEAL WITH IT.

I'm glad!
