I don't mean to sound wanky or anything, but I'm starting to get sick of women being graphically murdered on Supernatural. The show just wasn't this violent in the first and second seasons. Sure, there was blood, but the dude from "Home" getting his hand getting stuck in the garbage disposal was horror movie corny violence; a close-up a teenage girl being drowned in a toilet? It feels different, and I don't like it.

That said, "Criss Angel is a Douchebag" and "After School Special" were better episodes than I've seen in a while.

I haven't seen Heroes, is that friendly or unfriendly or what?

Ugh, unfriendly. Most of the female characters end up getting killed or needing to be rescued. Plus there are icky race issues, too.

Part of me feels bad being all Serious Business especially since I loved the show at first and defended its second season even when there were a lot of detractors, but so much of it bugs me now that I just stopped watching. The only female character who seemed to be enjoying her powers while being a good person was written out of the show entirely, which pissed me off/

I'm starting to feel that way about Supernatural. I mean, I still enjoy watching the show, but defending it is like, so hard now. I cannot deny the fact that it has problems, and problems of the misogynistic nature are a lot harder to defend.
