Sometimes I want to pack a bag and just walk away from everything. Fulfill my dream of going just to go. Then I think about everything I'd be leaving behind and I can't do it even though I should. It leaves me feeling like a failure. I compile lists of places I would go. People I could meet, things I'll see. But I never do it. I make up excuse after excuse why I shouldn't. The only thing I've ever wanted to with all of my soul and I can't do it because I'm a coward at heart.

I used to want to do this; still do, kind of, in a way. What was stopping me wasn't fear, though, it was the fact that I really like certain aspects of my life, and I knew it'd be irresponsible just to bail.

So maybe, you're not sticking around just 'cause you're afraid?
