And so, on Janella's orders, ( I will introduce you all to Batman: Singing Dancing Paperboy. )
Okay, I'll shut up, now. ^__^;;;

( DON'T BLAME ME, MOTHER, IT'S IN THE DAMN MOVIE. )
Don't look at me.
Only a pansy would say, sign up for lessons or maybe bring someone along who knew how to snowboard. Me,
penginchan, and
yamiaudra? We are hardcore. We were winging it.
Most people kinda slide around and fall back on their asses a lot. Me? I quickly mastered the art of falling forward at speeds I'd describe as not slow--and even skidding along after that, leaving a gouge in the snow with my face. Other times, I hit the ground rolling, tumbling head over snowboard, my ankles screaming in silent pain as they were jerked by the weight in directions they never intended to go.
After about twenty repetitions of this--and no, I'm not kidding--my initial cursing (motherfucker, shit, god fucking damnit) had softened to something a great deal more pathetic (groaning and whimpering, mostly). Once my board got stuck on some built up snow and just stopped short. I didn't. I hit the ground so hard I didn't breathe for the next couple of seconds. And I left an imprint of my teeth.
Needless to say, by the time I made it to the bottom of the hill, I felt like I'd been in a fight and I had lost. I never really recovered from that, and I still feel pretty dizzy. We spent some time hanging out at the lodge, Bridgette's board broke the next time we went down and Audra had no objection to leaving thirty minutes before the mountain closed. We had a lot of fun! Oh god, I hurt.
And I got injured least of everyone!
This long entry needs pictures.
Lots of them.
( PICTURES OF OUR EPIC AWESOME. )
I think I'm going to zone out for the next couple hours.
