Jun. 16th, 2008 09:03 pmI return from vacation!
Where I worked four to six hours in the Phoenix heat, and spent another hour or two a day studying. Sometimes I studied at the same time as I worked, though, so there was kind of an overlap.
Vacation is awesome.
I should talk about the resort, though! I have no idea whereabouts in the Valley it was, but we spent all the time we weren't working lying by the pool and drinking beer. It also had this nifty ride called the Lazy River, which is a giant pool built in the shape of a circular creek, and you get to lie around in inner tubes and just ... float around it.
We spent most of the time doing that, really.
Of course, the heat, the alcohol and the chemistry stuff I was trying to memorize all conspired to rot my brain, leading me to shed my inner tube and run around the pool shrieking, "I am a lone proton! I have lost my electron! I am a hydrogen ion, and I am what makes acids acidic, fear me! Ahahahahahahaha!" And then attacking people.
Yeah.
