DO YOUR ICONS MAKE A STATEMENT ABOUT YOU?: I like a lot of ridiculous things.

ARE YOUR ICONS MOSTLY MADE BY OTHER USERS?: Yup. I made a few myself, but I suck at icons and also don't have time to make a hundred and freakin' twenty myself.

So, my parents are trying to convince me to get ferrets instead of rats. Hm.

Today I have to write a poem explaining the process of photosynthesis. We'll see how that goes.

Denied. Rats are cuter.

...that is the best assignment ever.

They are, but my parents worded it as, "Well, it's your decision, but we would like you to reconsider for these thought out and rational reasons," so I have to at least think about it.

I know! And it'll make up for one of those mysterious zeros that I know is a missing assignment even if I don't know what I've forgotten. The paper I have to write on the biology of The Thing will make up for the rest, I'm pretty sure. Extra credit is awesome.

Chlorophyll absorbs energy from most wavelengths but green
Which it reflects conveniently; thus that color is seen
Each color o'light generates electrons differently
The action spectrum shows those with photosythetic efficiency.

...hm. I'd have to tweak it.

Why are ferrets more rational?

Dude, I wish my teachers gave extra credit ever.

If you help Bryce will kill me. I think I'm going to have to make liberal use of this. I wonder how many scientific terms it has in its database.

Bryce is clearly stupid to not have made friends with my particular brand of insanity before this assignment; he deserves what he gets! I'm really tempted to go back and make that first verse scan properly by brute force now. As long as you are looking for terms that rhyme WITH the scientific words it should be okay.

Larger animals, harder to lose, smarter, better able to fend for themselves, I actually bought a ferret cage for the rats--but most importantly! Cats generally get along with ferrets. Rats, er. Not so much.

Ferrets are also like more than a hundred bucks each.

I generally regard the final twenty percent of the class grade as extra credit. Extra-extra credit has thus far been totally ignored! I don't know if previous teachers have assigned it. I bet they did.

Salient points indeed! Have you decided yet~?

This approach may have something to do with your past school experience.

Hn. You make a compelling point! CAN YOU BEND THE WORDS TO YOUR WILL? I'm going to have to go back to the test book and review all the chemical processes and stuff. Which I suspect was the teacher's motivation all along.

Words in general bend to my will; these have lots of syllables though. My brother suggests Shakespearian sonnets. And I would do so much better in all my classes if the teachers told me to write poetry about the subjects, because I find it hilarious.

I haven't! I AM NOT EVEN CLOSE TO DECIDING. I AM NOT LEANING EITHER WAY. IT SUCKS.

It is a great system when you have a kind of vague hope/goal to PASS. It's when my ambition slipped still further that I started running into trouble. But no longer! I AM STUDIOUS. YES.

THAT IS GOOD!

Rats are very smart, maybe not quite as much as ferrets but still, and rats are big and can be mean to a cat if necessary. As long as it is kept in it's home it should be fine though! I wouldn't invest in ferrets unless you are well willing to invest in them. They require a lot of attention, while rats not so much.

Oh and when are you going to get them? I want to see them when you go!
