❀ Yesterday my dad drove me down to school, and bought me a bunch of food at Walmart, so between all the fresh fruit and dairy he gave me and the packaged stuff immelmanturn sent me, I am eating good. It's fantastic. My mother swears he actually liked driving me all that way—I didn't ask him to, he volunteered, and it's like ... eight hours, round trip.

❀ I've traded my truck for a skateboard and a bicycle. Do I even need to express how I feel about this? I'm now practicing with the skateboard at night, because I haven't ridden one since I was eighteen and hell if I'm going to weave between hundreds of people when I barely remember what I'm doing. I should have the hang of it in a few days.

❀ Missed class this morning, ugh. I teach myself everything in this subject anyway, because I understand a lot of it intuitively and the way the lectures explain it kind of confuses me more than it helps—but still, this is the first class I've missed since everyone's started taking attendance.

❀ I've joined the salsa dancing club.

❀ I should also probably join the Spanish practice club, because I suck.

❀ I have an idea for a short story and a longer thing like half outlined, I need to waste less time randomly surfing the Internet and more time doing these things.

I'd rather my entries have some kind of ~☆~narrative structure~☆~, but I'm lazy, man. Lazy and tired.

Yes! I did it last night, it was fun! It's a version where everyone stands in a circle and does stuff while the leader calls out new movies—so it's like some kind of Latino square dancing. And you change partners every thirty seconds, too, which horrified some girls who'd come with their boyfriends.

Well, they want to dance with their boyfriends! I don't know. I think they got the idea that salsa dancing is like, sexy dancing, when really it's looking to be, yeah, Latino square dancing!

Haha, sucks to be them! I think all parties should have salsa dancing instead of whatever it is people do at parties. Does it even have a name? It is mostly just grinding and does not look very formalized.

People dance at parties? I have only seen that at clubs and stuff! I don't know what it's called, I call it looking pretty stupid, but that is me.

Depends on the party! I've seen it once or twice. Just hanging around getting drunk is a lot more common. But our sentiments match perfectly.
