Well, presumably old Spock or someone else is going to warn the Romulans that their planet has a ticking clock, MAYBE THEY COULD WORK TOGETHER? VULCANS AND ROMULANS? HELP EACH OTHER OUT? I doubt that'd go smoothly like at all but I can't imagine that they wouldn't try.
