My mom did that for most of my life and, according to rumor, most of her 30+ year marriage - until recently! Now she just sort of goes well, I refuse to be responsible and is terribly, sweetly acerbic when we are late. Especially if she's driving and has to do illegal things to get us there. It's HORRIFYING. I liked it the other way better.
