The point is to get across the point in really large, annoying font! I thought. If I can't READ IT WITH GREAT EFFORT AND ANNOYANCE, what IS the point?

The great effort and annoyance, of course! As well as taking up 99% of your browser window. Since half the time with big font the point doesn't matter. In any case, you could always scroll out.
