I see. I'm not trying to stick my nose where it doesn't belong, but when my f-list explodes, it's kind of hard not to speculate...

Yeah, I feel sorry for the original anon, too. I (and I'm sure plenty of other people) know how they feel, to a degree. On the other hand, everyone else did have a point... It brought down the mood for the people in the secret and probably for the secret maker themselves, but there was no reason to be so incredibly spiteful.

Oh, no, don't worry—I put this up publicly after all, I don't mind people commenting on it.

Yeah, it probably shouldn't have been said and was a little mean spirited, but there wasn't anything malicious in the original comment, and definitely didn't deserve some of the vicious responses. And original!anon kept the same attitude throughout the whole nasty exchange, which I gotta respect them for. There's been speculation that original!anon wrote the comment I linked to, but... I doubt that so much, man.
