dafnap and I have been hysterically spamming each other for about twenty minutes, and I don't think we're going to stop for another twenty minutes. Holy cow. This is superbly written. The spare style is perfect, and I love, love, love how you never tell us anything. Hell, you never even show it directly. It's obliquely done, and probably the best I've ever seen.
You know how people say that they'd quote back the parts that they loved best, except they'd have to paste the entire thing? That annoys me sometime because I am like, SURELY YOU PEOPLE LIKED SOME BITS BEST, RIGHT? FEED MY EGO?
But I seriously can't. I am in sheer fucking awe of how controlled and sustained this fic is and how much thought went into it.
