Gah! amonitrate and I were just bemoaning the dearth of good IM fic ... and bam! Here it is!
Very and excellently movie!Tony. And everything fit so ... perfectly. And while I need to read this many more times, a couple of things stood out (though just barely, since it was all so great) ...
“You’ll forgive me a little gallows humor, sir, but should I start singing Daisy?"
and
“They asked my permission, actually.” His voice isn’t even bitter, anymore. “My options were to cooperate or they’d take it out on…”
I just don't have enough words.
I noticed a few more corrections-to-be-made as I read through (just can't turn off the beta these days, it seems -g-). If you're interested, I'd be more than happy to beta at least your Iron Man fics. Just say the word.
