I didn't sleep at all last night, due to watching The L Word with immelmanturn and also tremendous worry about money and finances and shit, so in the earlier hours of the morning I begin to surf Wikipedia. I look up actors. I look up movies. I look up James Bond. I look up Goldfinger. I look up Pussy Galore and I read the following:

Pussy's backstory (which somewhat explains her name) is suppressed in the movie, while her sexuality is never openly discussed; traits of lesbianism are thinly veiled throughout the film, however. Her original band of Amazon catwomen still feature in the film as they did in the book. They are in keeping with a long list of 1950s movies and books about dangerous bands of cat-woman lesbians.
