Is it just me, or are most of the people still left in the DMC fandom sort of fucking irritating?

But I'm just irritated in general. I spent forever on the phone this afternoon with a credit card company, who told me that I owed them two hundred bucks when I canceled my account with them months ago—or at least, I thought I did, because they told me that I had. God damnit. Now I'm tired and I feel like crap and I just want to sleep or read or ... I don't even know. I've been downloading a lot of free books for my mom's Kindle and reading those, and honestly? That thing is almost freaky. The ads don't lie, the screen actually looks just like the page of a book. I have no idea how they do it, man. Anyway I could always finish The Swiss Family Robinson or reread Treasure Island or something.

My entire extended family is getting fucking insane about all those dumb 2012 theories. My aunt actually, truly believes that the end of the world is coming. No joke! She caught my brother on Facebook and told him to dig himself a bomb shelter and buy himself a gun. Just in case.

Also I feel you on the credit card thing, I had that happen a long while back and it took a lot of bitching at them to get them to MAKE SURE there were no extra charges and that the account was definitely closed. Credit card companies just suck. A lot.

Yeah, I mean, I know they're evil but sometimes the lengths they will go to in order to get your money just baffles me. In this case, I'd tried to pay it off twice last year, only to get a SURPRISE FEE that kept the account open, before I finally paid every last goddamn cent with a credit card that had much lower interested, called them up, confirmed the payment, canceled the card, that was it. Except not. Turns out they said they'd gotten all of my last payment except for this random $27.27, and have been charging me interest and late fees on it every since. I MEAN WHAT.

I KNOW RIGHT. Clearly Dante's issues really ugly the girl up, it's not like she has issues of her own or anything.

... And, honestly, you can bitch about her hitting on him all you like but if you watch all the cutscenes of DMC1 Dante's almost definitely doing her. Or at least, he was at one point. They give me more "just friends with sexual innuendo" vibes in DM4 but not in DMC1, no way.
