Watching people demonize Megan Fox fascinating is to me, in a sick sort of way. I have, like, four celebrity crushes—Shia Labeouf, Robert Downey, Jr., Christian Bale, and Megan Fox. Of these four, Shia has been arrested twice for drunken assholery, including driving while intoxicated and possibly causing a car crash. He also got in trouble for calling someone a faggot. RDJ spent a year in prison for his uncontrollable drug and alcohol abuse. Christian Bale hasn't been in any serious trouble with the law, as far as I'm aware, but he's almost certainly a megalomaniacal jerk with all the personality of a blank and empty wall. Painted beige.

But everyone's right, Megan Fox is a total bitch, she ... uh.

Yesterday was a shitty week. This week is looking up to be a good week, despite how it's midterms and all. I was even rather chill about the news that my minor is delaying my graduation by a semester. It's probably a good thing I didn't get that news last week, actually, since that is when I was continually wondering, why am I ... here? I could barely work up the will to drive back to school on Monday morning, but my weekend trip home featured Zombieland, a fury of Supernatural-themed meta and an intense game of tag which escalated to motor vehicles. School has, like, nothing on any of this.

Oh, also I randomly acquired a Monte Carlo. I'm not entirely sure how this happened, but ... well, hey, college life, now with more driving?

IT'S BECAUSE SHE'S HOT ALMOST CERTAINLY. I guess people have their reasons, it just bugs me that the same reasons never count against male celebrities. JENSEN ACKLES IS ONLY AN AVERAGE ACTOR!!1 LET US PROCEED TO HATE HIM. HE DATES SOME MODEL CHICK LET'S CALL HIM A WHORE.

The car thing's so messed up. I am paying for a truck I can't drive, and now I have a free car I can drive? WHATEVER, MAN, A CAR'S A CAR.

I thought he was only arrested for verbally fighting with him mom, and apparently they said she was the one that started it, demanding money from him? But that was right before his whole ARE YOU PROFESSIONAL OR NOT?!!! thing, so maybe he wasn't so blameless after all.

But ARE YOU PROFESSIONAL proves he's an asshole either way.

do not get the hate on Megan Fox. I know OMG UR JELIS is such a lame thing to say, but I really do think that's mostly what's going on in this case.

I don't think it's jealously exactly? I mean sometimes maybe sometimes it is, but I think our society just holds women to ridiculous standards and also punishes women for being sexual in any way, not to mention just for being ... women. Like, she's a "whore" because she "dresses like one" and "acts like one" and has tattoos and talks about being bisexual? I guess? I don't even know, man, but the misogyny is strong, here.

And we already treat our celebrities like public property anyway, so I guess this isn't surprising.
