Dude, the snow outside can be measured in feet. It's over my knees. It's ridiculous. The kids are having a snow day, and we're going to make a snowman.

Have I mentioned that I live in the desert?!

Hope it goes well for you! I actually can skate decently well (at least I could the last time I tried), it just terrifies me to do so. The older stepsister of a former friend of mine actually got really pissed at me because she didn't understand this, or else she understood and didn't care and thought I should just get over it. (I think she paid for me and my friend to go into a skating rink, which is why she was upset, so I can understand it, but I'm also pretty sure I made it known I wasn't crazy about it. But oh well, she was a holier-than-thou bitch, anyway.)

It does! I am pretty sure it does, anyway--I was told this by a couple of my ice hockey fan friends, but I have never verified it.

I hope so, too! I don't really mind getting hurt, which is probably a good thing... I used to suck tremendously, but now I can at least move from place to place with no trouble! PERSISTENCE IS KEY, I guess!
