Fungus freaks me the hell out. I once ate a mushroom by accident, and I almost choked. I hate it, hate it, but really, I try not to think that hard about it, that's how freaky and gross it is. And I guess the fact that yeast is a fungus isn't all that surprising, but, dude, I never thought about it. Until tonight, when Wikipedia destroyed my illusions completely.
Yeast is in bread.
Yeast is in beer.
Yeast is in pizza.
... How am I supposed to go on?
Oh, and I get sympathy, too.
My mother: Hey, Brittany, you want me to make you a loaf of bread?
Me: ....... Fuck no, bitch.
