This is four classes and fifteen credits, which is not a whole lot but it's not nothing, either, so why does it feel like so freaking little? And my financial aid money came in, awesome.

After this week I'll be able to talk about things that aren't school, I swear. Of course, in moving to a place where I know only one person and quitting my job, I've reduced my entire life to little else, so ... god, I hope I'll be able to.

I'm starting to change. I'm starting to become listless, tired, blank, confused, constantly affected with a low-grade headache. I'm becoming rather like my icon, braindead and weak. Yeah, yeah, I know the answer to my problems is JESUS CHRIST FUCKING EAT YOU'VE HAD WHAT, ONE MEAL IN FIVE DAYS AND A COUPLE SNACKS A DAY AND MAYBE SOME SODA THIS IS NO WAY TO LIVE YOU'RE GOING TO DIE AUUUUUUGH. And believe me, that's what I'm thinking! I just. Well, my ability to solve this problem is degrading with my mental capacity and I barely notice how hungry I am anymore but I fully intend to figure out a long-term solution to the food thing today. Seriously. I do.

I felt that way when I got back from Ohio (because the norm out there was something like 20+ credits a term), but fifteen hours really is a pretty decent load, especially for language classes, which tend to be homework-intensive. So. :)

That'd be a pretty nasty thing to do, or I guess hilariously cruel, since I can't to my knowledge cook in here. I'd just. Look at the box. The box of food I can't eat, thinking about how delicious it would be if only I could, et cetera.

They kind of late, really! Except for the night class. I get to sleep in, which is awesome, though I am evidently the last person in my wing to go to bed and the last one to get up, too.

I HAVE BEEN SNACKING PERIODICALLY TO AVOID THAT, MAN. Though I did kind of nearly wander off a ledge because I was in a hunger daze earlier. Yeah, I'm majoring in linguistics! I don't actually need to take all the languages for the major, but right now I'm planning on minoring in Spanish and I need to take the Chinese for the major, so~.

I haven't been in school full time for forever, so I'm not entirely sure what to expect, I guess. At least all these classes look pretty easy, so far! Except the Spanish, but it's preparation for upper division courses and taught exclusively in the language, so I kind of expected that. Sigh.

I didn't. I have a limited amount of cash I can spend, so I have to find cheap food. There's a few restaurants near my dorms but I can't spend fifteen bucks a day on food. It's a conundrum. :/
