Growing my hair out is a very dull endeavor; I think I've decided not to cut my hair short again, so long as I'm in college, and in two years it should be pretty long, right? It's about an inch below than my chin, now, which is pretty good when you consider less than a year ago it was like this, and I was only trying to grow it out for part of the year—in another year, it should be pretty long.

Talking to my parents about studying abroad not only didn't net any discouragement—people never talk sense to me, never—they actually said that they thought it was a fantastic idea and a great opportunity and I should do what I have to to do it! Which is get a GPA of 3.3, which might as well be infinite as far as I'm concerned... I haven't done that well in school since the third grade.

Of course, the chance to go to the same university my parents went to in Scotland... Well. That'd be something.

I write entries like this all the time for my own benefit and then close the window without posting.

SCORE. St. Andrews does the most international recruiting and I've got a handful of American friends going there. GORGEOUS town, awesome aquarium, lol golf, ahhhhh I love St. Andrews more than where I'm going. DX

Yeah, they did an exchange program for a semester, I'm pretty sure. I mentioned it to my mother, and she started going, "JFDJFSDKFDSFSDLFLLFSD GOOOOOOOO THAT WOULD MAKE ME SO HAPPY." Yeah, she said it was really pretty there are stuff!

I would totally go for a full degree instead of a single semester thing if you can - DEPENDING, of course, if your degree is recognized in the States if you want to get a job back home. Some medical ones don't apply, but you'll have to check. Other ones should be fine! Exchange rate is about $1.45 for 1 pound now.
