FINALLY, I have my for real schedule. (I had a schedule before, but turns out I read my major requirements wrong last semester, so I had to rethink my plans.) I thought I'd have to run around the first day of school, begging to get into the classes I need, but no! Someone dropped their Chinese class this morning so I jumped right into that. I'm taking eighteen credits and everything looks hard Christ, except for the Chinese and French but you know what? They look time consuming. I need to raise my GPA a few points this semester so I'm so so screwed.

Haven't been online much, because I've been falling asleep at about six o'clock every night, which sort of sets back my Internet time, and then I'm packing all my stuff up during the day anyway because I'm supposed to be moving to Tucson on Friday. Everything's actually going awesomely but I have a fuckton to do and so I'm doing that. I THINK I'LL BE BACK SHORTLY just as soon as I get my shit together.

Yeah, at least you can keep focused on one area. My friend is, of all things, a poli sci major so she's taking all those languages for fun in addition to several required courses for her major.

Well, my birthday is on the 22nd, which is a week from Saturday, and presumably I will be doing nothing the following Sunday except swimming in the apartment pool maybe. I told my parents that if you're there on Saturday we need to take Ramadan into account for our food plans.

Man I am so jealous! 18 credits used to seem hard, but after this place everything seems easy. I look back on my college experience and realize what a dream it was. I graduate from the 1st half of my school October 2nd though, as long as my COMP exam doesn't get pushed back. I can really use the break!

But your schedule sounds fun and I am happy you are sticking with it and found a major you like!

How long a break do you get after you graduate from the first half of your school?

I know I haven't talked to anyone! I am so busy that I just want to collapse and veg out when I get home. I basically start my day at 5, pt at 530, class till 4, then another 2 hours of studying each day (mandatory), it sucks.

I get ten days off, not much. Then I get a few days for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Holy crap, that does sort of suck. And you have to study two hours a day now? D: At least you're probably learning a fuckton of stuff, have you moved beyond the basic crap that you knew already at least?

Ten days is ... egh, something at least. Got any big plans for that vacation time, or are you just gonna catch up on your sleep?

Well actually I am doing pretty well and I am on 10-0, which is the best you can get (with my SLPO). So I don't HAVE to be in for 2 hours a day but I still have to do 10 hours extra of studying each week so I might as well do 2 a day so I don't have to come in on the weekend.

I am in I&CE now. So yeah I have definitely gotten into hard stuff. Right now I am learning about digital and analog systems, basic power plant stuff, and lots of other complicated things we will never need to know about for our job but they want to torture us with. Everything is soooo boring.

I hope to visit Flag on break and see family and friends, and maybe see my Grandma in Florida and go to Disney World.
