I told my dad he should give me his pneumonia, since that'd get me out of work tomorrow and having to worry about school stuff for at least another week. Or yeah, I'd still have to worry about it, but I'd worry about it while rolling around in bed and going, "But I can't do anything about it, how unavoidably tragic."
"Hilarious," my father says. "You could die, too, that'd get you out of pretty much everything, wouldn't it?"
