rocknloadIf you have no reason to lie to me, I am operating under the assumption that you aren't. This isn't unusual, or stupid; it's actually necessary for communication. When people are already assuming you're telling the truth, it's surprising what they'll believe. Most won't believe in spaghetti trees, obviously, but when you have that advantage over other folks you can get them to think an awful lot.
So, anyway, when you take advantage of this by saying something completely reasonable and believable and then go, "Haha! You should've known! April Fools!" then you aren't clever, you're just sort of a dick.
I don't mind a good prank, but no one knows how to do it, damnit! And so I hate today.
